CONSUL GENERAL’S MESSAGE

Dear Turkish Citizens and Esteemed Afghani Friends,

I have commenced my duty as Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Mazar-e Sharif on 15 September 2025.

Area of consular jurisdiction of the Consulate covers Balkh, Faryab, Jawzjan, Sar-e Pol, Samangan, Kunduz, Takhar, Baglan, Badakhsan provinces of Afghanistan.

I am gratifed to serve in a country with which we have long standing friendly relations, similiar cultural traditions, common historical past,

I am resolved to oversee and participate in the immense work consisting of providing consular services and strengthening cultural bonds between Turkish and Afghani peoples as well as making efforts to improve bilateral relations in political, economic, cultural fields between Türkiye and the institutions located in the area of responsibility of the Consulate.

Representing Türkiye in the best possible manner, protecting the rights and interests of Turkish citizens, establishing viable connections and maintaining fruitful cooperation modalities with local authorities to the benefit of Turkish and Afghan peoples are of utmost importance to us.
